Body 591 is a lilac to yellow-coloured firing STONEWARE

quality with 25 % chamotte 0 – 0.2 mm. The

recommended firing range is 1000°C – 1280°C. The

plastic body is suitable for building-up smaller pieces

as well as for throwing on the potter’s wheel,

where it is also particularly suitable for larger pieces.

The attractive play of colours from lilac to

sand yellow develops as temperature increases.
